We enjoy preferred supplier status with many of our clients. Here is a selection of our quality projects.
STATE SIGNIFICANT DEVELOPMENT (SSD 7267)
FIRE EVENT FACILITY RECTIFICATION | WETHERILL PARK
Planning, liaising with authorities, design and certification for the client including Marsh, the insured’s claim preparer to secure the DA and S4.55. Reconstruction and upgrade of the facility including new pavement and ring road (4,000m2), installation of a high-hazard sprinkler system (to cover 7,000m2), a 600,000L water tank and 800 lineal metres of hydrant lines. The development increased throughput of the facility by 130%.
WAREHOUSE COMPLEX DEVELOPMENT | REVESBY
Design, DA and S4.55, construction, certification and delivery of an 18-warehouse complex. Best-in-class materials feature throughout, including Mitsubishi ALPOLIC™NC, Prodema and ROCKCOTE Armour Flex. A new benchmark in warehouse aesthetics is achieved.
ASBESTOS CLADDING REMOVAL AND DEMOLITION | CHULLORA
Complying development demolition of a 12,500m2 warehouse including removal and disposal of 6,050m2 of asbestos cladding. 1,100-tonne steel hyper-structure demolished and recycled. A total of 200 daily air monitoring test results returned 100% negative for fibres detected during the asbestos removal period. 9,805-tonnes of concrete pavement and footings are crushed to 20mm for reuse as aggregate base.
TIPPING PIT RECTIFICATION AND FUTUREPROOFING | WETHERILL PARK
Urgent rectification and upgrade of the resource recovery facility tipping pit to deliver 10 years of maintenance-free operation. Upgrade includes low-shrinkage, steel-fibre reinforced concrete with leachate-resistant admixtures to deliver 100MPA+ of compressive strength. An around-the-clock work schedule sees the project completed in under 2 weeks (including curing time).
DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL OF 9,000M2 ASBESTOS-LADEN WASTE RECYCLING FACILITY FOLLOWING A MAJOR FIRE | CHULLORA
Extinguishing the blaze with Fire & Rescue NSW, the demolition, asbestos removal and disposal was completed within a live worksite. Asbestos clearance certificates issued with zero EQ&S incidents. Fire & Rescue NSW monitored the water runoff from the works with no issues identified in adjoining waterways or channels within 100m of the site.
SYDNEY WATER ASSET AND SEWER MAIN CONSTRUCTION | SPRING FARM
Over 700 linear metres of internal and external sewer line, new Sydney Water manholes and vent shaft are installed. These are connected concurrently with the upgrade of the existing Sydney Water sewer assets. With the completed construction upgrade, this waste facility becomes a multifunctional treatment precinct for solid and liquid waste.
WASTE VEHICLE CARRIAGEWAY DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION | LUCAS HEIGHTS
Internal roadways extending over 3,000m2 are constructed around live traffic, business operations are uninterrupted at this busy site with 3,000 daily vehicle movements. Intersections, kerbs, guttering, pavement, stormwater lines and pits feature in this design and construct project.
TIPPING FLOOR RECTIFICATION AND FUTUREPROOFING | ARTARMON
A structural upgrade to accommodate higher traffic volumes and future proofing the tipping floor for 10 years’ uninterrupted operations. Featuring hydro scabbling across 2,500m2 to remove leachate contaminated concrete, treatment of corroded steel and upgrade of the suspended slab with new concrete technology (60mpa concrete with leachate resistant admixtures). Works are completed in record time.
REMEDIATION ACTION PLAN | CHULLORA
A remediation action plan (RAP) is devised for a major resource recovery company. The RAP is needed to satisfy subdivision and NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) requirements. The successful RAP enables the client to maximise profit from the sale of the site. Scope of works included asbestos hot spot excavation, underground storage tanks (UST) demolition, leachate pond desludging and hazardous waste disposal as per NSW EPA Trackable Waste Guidelines.
CONCRETE AND STEEL REMEDIATION | SPRING FARM
Due to the aggressive nature of the waste receival activities, the concrete slab required an upgrade, and a specialised steel fibre concrete mix devised to ensure seamless transition and integration of the operational functions. The custom structural methodology, together with a live traffic management program, reduced the delivery program time by 35%. 60MPA low shrinkage admixture delivered and successfully installed under harsh environmental conditions.
CUSTOM STRUCTURAL STEEL DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION | ROCKDALE
A pre-recycling enclosure is built for dry waste containment. With the structure’s completion, source-separated uncontaminated materials can be safely received on-site. Suez secures a contract extension to continue to service the local community’s recycling needs. The site remains operational throughout the construction.
